More than Words!

James 1:21 - Receive with meekness the engrafted word.

Graft in basic terms…  Implanted into.. Something that eventually merges and grows into and becomes one with..

There is power in words!

Proverbs 18:21 - Says death and life are in the power of the tongue… So be careful what words you graft with!  These are the words that become a part of you, good or bad! They can determine your mindset and decisions in life. They can shape your identity…

There is life and death in the tongue!!! Destructive words can set in motion a life of destruction and death, words of life can alter a mans’s path and bring abundance… This includes words spoken to you and words you speak into your home and world!

Hebrews 4:12 says… The word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. It’s vital that we check in with echoing words, they could have been spoken many years ago but are reverberating in our mind and soul causing fear and hindering expression.! It’s time to draw sword!

The word of God is such that sword that can sever foul spoken words… Do it now, stand up and cut that stuff off that hinders your go forward. We can shape our world by our words.

Firstly you must speak life into you, this starts in your thoughts as words are really your imagination audibly expressed. The image centre of the mind needs to be scanned by the living word of God to set things in order!  Life is in the power of the tongue so bring life to your situation…

Prayer to Sever:

Right now in the name of Jesus I cut off any dark spoken words that have affected me! Anything the devil has tried to use against me I expose and cut off now! Be that recently or years ago… I refuse to be bound by words of death! I choose life for me and my family! I have the word of God on my tongue as a powerful sword and weapon to defeat the thoughts that fuel the words. I now speak life with authority as a life giving spirit  and will see dramatic change through the power of God!
