It’s quite often you hear these statements… We have our ups and downs or we are struggling at the moment… Of course at different stages in life there will be challenging times, but it seems some people have strapped themselves into the relationship roller coaster or are building their house on struggle street!

In The Bible… A story found in the first book of Samuel chapter 22 talks about a gathering of people who came to a cave where David was. These people were distressed, debt ridden and discontented. If you are familiar with the overall story of David you know that it’s the classic underdog story… A young man who eventually becomes king! But this cave season is one of the make or break moments in his journey! To stay in a dark cave and just survive the times… Or emerge from the shadows a mighty King!

What will you choose? I’m not sure what David conjured up with these people in the cave, but it definitely ignited a fire of purpose within them! Some of their unbelievable feats are documented in the Bible… (Davids mighty men) These men ultimately lived to establish David as King and they themselves became royalty!

Sooo is there not a cause? Find your purpose and cause as a couple, as a family! Sit in the cave and rip out, spit out, shout out the pain… Whatever it takes, but get out of the cave and on to the battlefield! Don’t remain in the pain instead arise as mighty warriors and steamroll the problems with massive purpose! Become a household that will establish a generational legacy!! Build with unity and intention! The new found cause and purpose should be so compelling within you, that you don’t have time to be up and down or focusing on the struggle that so easily enslaves you. Be large and in charge, work together, slay together and capture the throne together 😤.!!! You got this!
